Existing Home Insulation in South Georgia and North Florida

Under-Insulated vs. Properly Insulated
Most older homes in our region simply don’t have enough insulation to meet today’s energy standards. In fact, 9 out of 10 of U.S. homes are under-insulated. That means higher energy bills, overworked HVAC systems, drafty rooms, and wasted comfort.
Air leaks around doors, windows, wiring, lights, and ductwork let valuable conditioned air slip out while allowing outdoor air, allergens, and even pests inside. Over the years, Georgia and Florida building codes have raised the bar on efficiency, so many existing homes no longer meet current standards. Remodeling or replacing old insulation is the perfect chance to bring your home up to date and make it perform like new.
Benefits of an Energy-Efficient Home
Choosing to upgrade your home’s energy efficiency is a valuable investment into the care of your home and your family. It pays off in more ways than one:
Lower Energy Bills
Conserving energy puts more money back in your pocket every month with lower energy bills.
HVAC Relief
A well-insulated home reduces wear and tear on your HVAC system and helps it to last longer.
Cleaner Air
Air sealing helps block pollutants, allergens, and pests from sneaking in. This improves your home’s indoor air quality and provides you with cleaner air to breathe.
Eco-Friendly
Less energy use means less reliance on fossil fuels and a smaller carbon footprint.
Year-Round Comfort
Stable indoor temperatures and less drafts create a cozy home throughout every season.
Moisture Control
Air sealing and some insulation types help prevent mold and mildew issues caused by unwanted moisture.
Sound Control
Insulation reduces outside noise and room-to-room transfer for a quieter living environment.
Increased Property Value
Energy efficiency is a must-have for today’s energy conscious buyers.
Tailored Insulation Solutions for Your Home
Every home is unique and so are its insulation needs. Here’s how we help existing homes across South Georgia and North Florida:

Attics
We install blown-in fiberglass and cellulose, or spray foam for attic upgrades. If insulation is removed, we’ll air seal from the top—sealing penetrations, top plates, and adding baffles/vents as needed.

Open Walls
Options include fiberglass batts in open walls, spray foam in open walls, and loose-fill fiberglass or cellulose that is blown-in behind netting. We also install JM Spider® fiberglass insulation in open cavities for complete coverage during remodels.

Crawl Spaces
For older homes with crawl spaces, we provide full encapsulation with spray foam or a liner on the floor. This helps create a sealed, protected space that supports better overall performance and long-term durability beneath your home.

Insulation Removal & Replacement
We remove old insulation (though we don’t handle pest removal or disinfecting) and replace it with fresh, efficient material.

Air Sealing
Every remodeling job we do includes air sealing to close gaps and maximize performance. That includes air sealing the attic if insulation has been removed.
